There are many tools that have been designed to share the gospel. Throughout my years in the church, I’ve learned a ton of them. There’s the Romans Road, C.W.T., F.A.I.T.H., Evangelism Explosion (sounds intense, right?), the Bridge, and, of course, the Three Circles. And those are just the ones I can remember off the top of my head.
We also had gospel tracts. If you’re not familiar, these are small pamphlets that explain the gospel. My favorites were the comic book ones. I remember standing on a street corner during a mission trip to Chicago, handing out hundreds of these gospel tracts to what seemed like endless passersby.
Yet, of all the methods and systems out there, the most effective one I’ve used is my own story. Jesus himself said that we would be his witnesses. Witnesses of what? Of God’s work in our lives through Christ. In other words, our story!
This week we’re continuing our deep dive into the book of Galatians by looking at Paul’s story. His story is essential to his message in Galatians. Tomorrow, we’ll see how God’s work in Paul gives us confidence that our own story is worth sharing. Come this Sunday and see how God can use your story!
P.S. It’s also the first Sunday of the month, which means it’s Communion Sunday. I look forward to worshiping with you!
