Why Are We Giving Away School Supplies?
Arborway Community Church is a church that wants the best for our Jamaica Plain and he surrounding neighborhoods. We want to see children and families flourish! We also know that this time of year can be expensive and difficult for a lot of families. We are partnering with Boston's parents to get kids ready for the school year.
The Backpack
Each backpack that you reserve is either a 17 inch or 18 inch dome zipper bag. They are made out of a durable canvas vinyl material. We have several different styles and you will be able to choose the backpack that works best for your student. Show up early for more choices.
The School Supplies
Each backpack is filled with 45 different school supplies that will packaged in a plastic bag inside the backpack. The contents are listed below.
- 10 Piece Box of Crayons
- 1 Sharpener
- 2 Glue Sticks
- 1 Pencil Case,
- 5 Pencils
- 4 Erasers
- 5 Pens
- 4 Two-Pocket Folders
- 3 Highlighters
- 1 Ruler
- 5 Piece Colored Pencils,
- 1 Scissor
- 2 Spiral Notebooks
- 1 Composition Notebook
The Whole Kit
All together we hope that these supplies will help get your kid (or kids) started on the school year. Most of our backpacks come in black, green, red, and blue. Come early to get first choice on color.
